Participants took on a series of challenges, learnt rope tying, crafting, principles of leverage, and architectural knowledge. Together, they constructed a replica of an ancient Roman catapult and engage in group battles to enhance their problem-solving skills and teamwork spirit. Participants also became little housekeepers, utilizing limited resources to gather different ingredients and collaborate in creating delicious wilderness cuisine, so as to improve their self-reliance and communication skills, and unleash their leadership potential!
Over the three-day camp, participants unleashed their unlimited creativity and imagination, becoming little artists to create unique Easter eggs and clay paintings. They also delved into the mystery of Easter Island by sculpting with the Moai statue. As adventurers, they embarked on a journey to discover the hidden Easter treasure in Ma Wan, and took on athletic challenges to foster positive thinking and physical fitness.
During this 3-day camp, participants showcased their skills and enhance their self-learning ability, patience and observational skills by completing various Christmas-themed fun tasks. These tasks included creating their own knitted Christmas tree lighting, sparkling crystal ball and chocolate croffle by using diverse materials. Additionally, participants engaged in Ma Wan orienteering and competitive sports to improve their physical fitness and enhance their teamwork skills.
Participants enjoyed endless fun in S.T.E.A.M. through a series of scientific experiments, creative workshops and interactive games. Participants became scientific adventurers, exploring the winter migration routes and ecological habits of migratory birds, understanding the scientific principles of crystals, learning about the structure and formation process of snow, as well as creating colorful crystal trees! Also, participants became mechanical engineers to take on the challenge of the K'NEX model car rally, which improving their problem-solving skills through teamwork.
Participants used eco-friendly materials to create their unique arks and start a battle of wits and strength. Together, they designed a channel at the beach to make their arks sail with the wind by leveraging the principles of buoyancy and wind force. Additionally, participants experienced organic farming. Through outdoor training and the joy of learning in the forest, they enhanced their creativity, problem-solving skills and self-care ability.
During this five-day camp, participants became a little creative director, using eco-friendly materials to create unique instruments, making three-dimensional paintings and building their own playground by using K’NEX. They also acted as scientists to conduct small experiments to learn about the respiratory system of the human body and food nutrition. Participants' creativity, concentration, and problem-solving skills have been enhanced through interactive intelligence games that focus on visual, auditory, smell, taste, and touch.
This summer, let's step out of the classroom and enter the STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art and Mathematics) laboratory in Ma Wan to take on a diversity of missions!
Participants joined the STEAM laboratory in Ma Wan and learnt about the principles of geometry and use K'NEX to build ancient hydraulic propulsion system. Besides getting up close to rare insects and understood about wetland ecology, they also conducted geological experiments and explored space mysteries. In a memorable edutainment journey like no other, participants learnt how to apply STEAM knowledge to daily life and meet future challenges.
Participants discovered the unique natural habitat of Ma Wan and learnt how to develop a harmonious relationship with the environment by understanding plant structure, creating ecospheres as well as experimenting natural phenomena. In addition, participants became little adventurers exploring the treasures at Easter Island and experiencing different festival cultures through interactive games.
Participants explored the mysteries of nature through fun-filled mini experiments and activities, so as to learn how to cherish and protect the natural environment. Participants experienced mushroom farming, making ecosphere and conducting geographical experiments to understand nature's incredible power.
In this 3-day camp, participants overcame various kinds of challenges including design creation, rope course, magic performance, orienteering activity and so on. The day camp inspired the children and helped them to unleash their full potentials
Participants experienced an exceptional STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art and Mathematics) learning journey. They obtained rich knowledge through different interactive activities such as building roller coaster with K’NEX and making paper microscope to become little STEAM experts eventually!
Participants experienced organic farming as a little farmer and became an adventurer to explore the nature of Ma Wan. Most importantly, the participants learnt to develop harmonious relationship with the ecological environment through an array of fun-filled interactive activities.
Participants created a Turkish Ebru painting card, an environmental friendly lamp as well as a starry night painting during this 3-day camp. Additionally, they completed a variety of adventure missions such as Noah treasure hunt, rope course and nature exploration to develop their multiple intelligences.
This 3-day camp focused on S.T.E.A.M. (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art and Mathematics). Participants built their own catapult with K’NEX, making electronic card and Turkish Ebru painting bottle, from which to motivate their interests in the application of scientific knowledge and computational thinking on everyday life to become little S.T.E.A.M. makers.

In this 3-day camp, children were exposed to different scenarios in life, through interactive games and dramas, and outings to visit Food Angel Factory and subdivided unit. They also gained a deeper understanding on the issue of poverty and food wastage from different perspectives. Through the specially designed interactive crossroads and role-playing activities, children can improve their critical thinking and problem solving skills, while also develop social responsibility and empathy for others.

An academic English day camp led by qualified Teaching English as a Foreign Language instructors and Ivy League university student volunteers. It aimed to arouse a love for English learning for primary school students and strengthen their confidence using English through various creative activities- Drama, Reading, English Writing, Art and Music.
In this 5-day- camp, participants experienced an exceptional STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Math) learning journey. They designed and built different tools related to the environment with LEGO® parts and explored the ecological world through interactive games to become little STEAM experts.
In this eco adventure camp, participants explored the secrets of animals, astronomy and ecology while transforming into junior zookeepers and experiencing survival in the wild, They also had fun with a tie dye workshop and Ma Wan orienteering, and checking out fun facts of nature through interactive games.

Anchor House hosted a series of "Ma Wan Standup Paddling Boarding Fun Day" in the summer of 2017. Participants learned to ride on a stand up paddle board, while enjoying the great view of Tsing Ma Bridge and Ting Kau Bridge. Get on the board and be impressed by the breathtaking sea views!
2017 Summer Pop-up Market featured various original handmade crafts from local artists as well as DIY craft workshops for those who would like to have some hands-on fun. While parents enjoyed a leisure afternoon, the kids also had lots of fun by participating in the kids’ adventure workshops. It was a perfect summer outings for the whole family!
The family camping workshop offered by Anchor House provided an opportunity for parents and children to connect with nature together. While families learned to appreciate the natural environment and enjoyed fun activities like wilderness cooking, the activities also fostered the development of positive characters like perseverance and empathy in children.
